The long-awaited fourth coin
of the legendaryTwelve Labors of Hercules serie
is finally here!!
The first three labors, and the corresponding coins, were feats that involved the sacrifice or capture of animals, both mythical and based on real fauna. This fourth labor is another one of that kind. The Erymanthian boar was favored by the gods, had killed Adonis and destroyed many villages. Hercules was tasked with capturing the wild boar alive, which he did after chasing it through the snow. He gave the wild boar to King Eurystheus, who asked him to throw it into the sea.
The coin features Hercules fighting the wild boar at the bottom of a cliff, grabbing it by the horns, plated in 24k gold.
The obverse and packaging of the coin is the same as for the three previous coins, with a wooden box with the coin and a Certificate of Authenticity, all inside a themed cardboard sleeve. The coin is 2 ounces of silver with a purity of 999, minted by the Mint of Poland.
